Replace the unit in my camper that no longer charged the battery. I drew a diagram of the wiring, numbered each wire before disconnecting, then removed old unit and installed the new. You have to take your time. Take a break if you get ill, come back later, study drawing, take pictures of wiring before disconnecting. All of this helps. When the last wire is connected, put cables on the battery, plug camper in to DC current, cut breakers on. Now cut the interior lights on. Wait an hour then check the charge on the battery. If all works, jump and shout for joy !!!
