As other reviews note, the 2022 model has the digital meters on the end rather than the top, and no carry handle. I prefer this change, it is easy to read the display from across the room.Unit is 100% plug and play and there is nothing to adjust. The only setup is to wind the included spiral cable wrap around the charge cord if you plan to use it.Charge starts immediately when plug is inserted. Jumps right up to 18 amps and holds it there until pack reaches 44.5v, then current tapers down. Voltage drops to 41.3v and enters float mode once it gets down to about 4 amps. Charger remains on and holding float voltage indefinitely to offset any losses from self discharge or onboard electronics. Fan is loud but necessary, and only turns on when needed. It's less obnoxious than the 60hz buzzzz of the original charger. Uses standard IEC connector if the (surprisingly beefy) power cord is ever lost or damaged.My only complaint is there is no on/off switch. You have to unplug it to fully turn it off.I've only had it a few days, so I can't speak for longevity yet. If something changes, this review will be updated. If you're reading this, it's still working like new.Had an older BIGGER heavier charger that finally quit. Was quoted 300 to 400 for a new one. Found this one and have been SOOO pleased. Fast, light weight, easy to use. Cord protector came with it. A little difficult to put on but well worth time spent to put it on. Loving itHopefully I can get a factory rep to respond here. I'm disappointed in using this charger. while the charger does charge my golf cart, it never gets to fully charged and the green light never goes on. I had the charger plugged in to the cart for more than 36 hours. It begins the cycle with 42 - 44 Volts and 18 - 20 Amps. As you can see in the pictures, the pics show 36 hours later showing 44.4 volts and 10.2 amps. The fan would cycle on/off but was on most of the time.My old charger, 18 years old, finally died. The Bestequip charger does an excellent job. Because I hadn't charged the batteries for several months I was nervous about the batteries condition but the charging was no problem. I had to let the batteries fully charge and fully deplete four times before the charger would reduce charging to a trickle charge. Not a surprise since the batteries were depleted and needed to be cycled. I can not speak to longevity since this is a new purchase but I am pleased with the performance for the price.Nice item - Great price.Great value, works perfectly, just plug in to cart and wall.
