Snowboarding is in the youth's hands, and Nitro believes it is their duty as a snowboard brand to provide the next generation with the same technologies and tools that the pros use to allow them to progress past the current status quo with ease. The Charger Micro's QUICK-FIT base frame offers the Tool-Less customization every little shredder needs for their ever-growing feet. The comfortable Perfect Fit Ankle Strap with a flex window and easy-to-use buckle system makes this binding a breeze for anyone to use, even the young ripper themselves. Show your parents and friends you can do it yourself with the Easy Entry Buckles and Ratchets and overall user-friendly design.
Flex Flex Rating – 2/10 (1=Soft,10=Stiff) Kids Flex & Fit
Baseplate Quick-Fit Base Frame Smooth Flex Corner Lift-Off – Allows the board and bindings the freedom to flex naturally.
Straps Perfect Fit Ankle Strap With Flex Window – A perfect blend of response and freedom for the kids. Cable Reinforced Connectors – Over-molded stainless steel cables inside of the connector straps work to prevent stretch and breakage.
Buckles Easy Entry Buckles & Ratchets – These S-curved ratchet straps stay out of your way when stepping into the binding. The wide-mouth buckle funnel helps you guide the ratchet for an ultra fast, precise bite of your buckles. Forged Aluminum Speedwheel Buckles – The strongest and lightest aluminum lever combined with the smoothness of a polymer Speedwheel. These buckles work like a dream and last forever - no stripping, no slipping!
Not a fan. They just weren’t what I expected. The 2 screw mount system is cheesy…I had to CRANK down on the screws to get the binding not to pivot on the board…even then they didn’t hold position well. They also don’t seem like they would fit up to a 3.5 boot, I could be wrong but my sons boot is a size 1 and I couldn’t get it to fit really well even with a bunch of tinkering. Just not for me. Going back to his union cadets.
