Works as it should, holds a charge wellCredit to Metabo first. I am heavily invested in the Hitachi line of 18v tools and when Metabo bought them, I was ready to jump ship. However, Metabo has lived up to Hitachi's brand. There are plenty of tool comparisons that hype the winner. Rarely is Hitachi/Metabo included in those comparisons but who cares. Those of us that have this line of tools know they work well and are reliable. And when products ship and sold by Amazon, you know they're good. Best of all, the batteries are the best on the market and that rarely is mentioned. And Metabo's lifetime warranty is pretty darn good. The reason they are the best battery packs is simply because they use the best 18650 cells on the market, the brilliant Samsung 30Q 3000mA cells. I have batteries well over 15 years old that still perform and they all use well made cells from LG and Samsung. For that reason, getting the OEM batteries is well worth the extra few dollars over the knock-off replacement batteries that use cheap 18650 batteries (see Project Farm 18650 battery review).Picked this up for my Compact cordless brad nailer because it only came with one battery. Don't want to run out of juice when I am doing a project. Comes in a plastic retail hanger. Fits in the tool as it should. Looks just like the one that comes with my kit.Oddly it did not work out of the plastic. I put it on the charger and after enough charging, it works as it should. Guess it was too dead to begin with? Odd, but least I did not get a dude.Wish it was priced better, but still very handy and would recommend.I liked them when they were Hitachi and I’m buying Metabo now and the quality is still thereLike these very much, but I wish they would upgrade the 1P batteries to including on battery life indicator, and to a modern 21700 cell which would give users a 4+ah life charge in the same size battery! Was adding another battery for power hungry jobs. This one has been reliable, performing as expected. Disclaimer, all batteries in my kits are Hitachi/Metabo branded. I have tried cheaper alternatives and had bad experiences. You get what you pay for.I used this to replace a dead, 4-year old 1.3Ah Hitachi 18v Li-Ion battery for my Hitachi drill and impact driver set. I decided to upgrade from 1.3Ah to 3.0Ah, and was hopeful that my charger would work. It does.I almost purchased one of the knock-off replacement batteries, but after reading some reviews, I decided to spend the extra ~$10 to get this "name brand" battery (Metabo is just a re-branding of Hitachi- same thing, different name). Strangely though, I found some "Hitachi" brand 3.0Ah batteries for almost twice the cost of this Metabo. Maybe the Hitachi batteries are just overstock or something, being marketed at a higher price for the skeptical people (like me), I'm not sure. After researching the "Hitachi -> Metabo HPT" re-branding, I couldn't justify spending almost twice as much on the "Hitachi" battery.I can't speak to long-term, but after a few days of using my drill with the new battery (intermittently), I'm liking it. I don't use my drill a lot, just for typical homeowner DIY projects, but will report back if anything goes sideways. Seems to be the exact same size as my dead 1.3Ah battery.I use this in my Metabo nailers (framing, finish, etc.) and they work great. Lightweight and last a long time.Bought this extra battery for the metabo nailer. It work fine. Just not enough Amp Hours to get much runtime out of the tool. I would suggest buying two if for the nailer. For Drills this is probably fine.great price on an original replacement battery for my older Hitachi drill, works great! will buy more...Shipped and received promptly. Authentic battery in sealed manufacturers blister pack packaging. Got during sale priceBuen producto, muy funcional. SaludosGreat batteries
